How the fund was used
The full $16,000 grant was expended on the meadow enhancement. After an initial site assessment by Dr. Linda Rohleder, the project redirected funds toward a professional restoration firm to meet a compressed timeline while keeping the original scope and goals unchanged.
Continue the work
The most immediate next step is planning for removal of reed canary grass, which germinates early in spring before other native plants sprout. Sustaining this restoration will take continued partnership, monitoring, and community support.
